New Republic: July Jobs Growth Enough For Obama
The July jobs report was a mixed bag. Despite an expectations-beating addition of 163, 000 jobs, unemployment ticked up to 8.3%. The New Republic's Noam Scheiber says this may be good enough for the president's reelection campaign, but it's insufficient for a recovery.
